A chiropodist/podiatrist is a healthcare professional who can help prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the feet. They can help with a wide-range of ailments, including day-to-day issues, or more serious problems.
Paying a visit to a chiropodist/podiatrist who has the expertise and right equipment can help ensure your feet don’t suffer from problems in the future.
Whilst many of us work hard to look after ourselves, eating the right food and undertaking regular exercise, the one area that we often neglect is our feet. Maybe it’s the fact that they spend most of the day hidden in shoes or covered by tights and socks. Making sure your feet are in good condition and having a regular check-up can help prevent a lot of potential problems from developing.

This condition is very common. With the use of certain products, a 4-6 week treatment plan and the co-operation/commitment of the patient it will improve. A sample nail clipping will be taken and will be grown under observation at which time it will be possible to identify the type of bacteria for destruction
Diabetic Foot Screening

This will entail a full examination of the lower limbs including your gait cycle and show how each of these move in relation to each other and the rest of your body. A prescribed orthotic (shoe insert) can be made to correct any misalignment in the lower limbs. An exercise program will also be given to you
